The Distinction of High-Elevation Wines

Less than 1% of wines are produced from fruit grown at elevations approaching 5,000 feet. This high desert environment is truly transformative, creating an exceptional alchemy that results in distinctive wines. The climate fosters vibrant flavors of tropical fruits, peaches, and light floral notes, which complement the traditional flavors and characters of the grapes. Our rocky soils shine as the backbone minerality that make the lighter flavors sing.

Mountain Terroir and Natural Protection

The mountain terrain, which cradles our vines, offers remarkable terroir and natural safeguards. Unlike many vineyards that rely on chemical treatments to combat pests and plant diseases, our location provides inherent protection. The elevation and thin atmosphere allow for intense sun exposure, enabling our fruit to ripen naturally without the need for leaf pruning or mechanical manipulation.

Sustainability and Regeneration in the Vineyard

Our growing practices have a lower environmental impact, resulting in amazing wines without sacrificing the soil or nature. Abundant harvests are possible with 75% less water than traditional crops grown in the region. As you walk through our vineyards, you will encounter regenerative cover crops, thriving pollinators, and abundant life among the vines.  The unique high mountain valley setting is the foundation for our commitment to producing “Wine Elevated.”
