Saturday, September 30, 2023, a low fog was resting on the mountains. It created the most beautiful haze as a backdrop to the wedding of Mariah and Dallas. With a beautiful simplistic nature inspired palette, the wedding party stood sophisticated on the amphitheater while they witnessed the ceremony of this darling couple.

Mariah recalls her search for the perfect wedding venue. “I was searching for a barn type venue, that wasn’t overly rustic and was also located in the mountains since we like to camp. I stumbled upon this venue looking at Instagram and instantly fell in love” she mentions her first impression of the venue, “Excitement! I had no idea there would be cows on the way up to the venue, as well as super pretty vineyards. It instantly sold me and I knew this was going to be my venue. Not to mention the cute dogs they had on the grounds. My heart felt so full.”

How did Mariah and Dallas personalize their wedding? “My husband loves tacos, and that was his one request for the wedding so we had a taco truck show up. Everyone loved it and thought it was a hit. We also DIY our own flowers, centerpieces, and decorations to add an individual style to our wedding. My husband also made the arch himself, along with cornhole boards! Our drink menus were our dogs that we have/had and people could order a specific drink that matched our sweet babies. I also created custom signs for a soda bar, cupcakes, alcoholic beverages and welcome signs. Our seating chart was made of books on a bookshelf to show where people are sitting. Custom made that as well.”
Mariah’s advice for other couples planning a wedding, “Things are going to happen on your wedding day that you’re not going to be able to control, and you’re going to have to roll with it. Think of it as a memory, but also think of back up plans for the big important stuff, such as food, timing, etc. Just remember that the day is for your two, and that you’ll always remember the small important things. Make time for yourselves away from family.”
She also shares her vendor recommendations. “Mama Shell’s Cupcakes – Roy Utah. She is literally the best! I will forever get my cupcakes from her! They were delicious! M&R Productions – If you’re on a budget, this is your best bet! He was so funny and accommodating. Their customer service is out of this world, and even after your wedding they’ll wish you happy holidays. Emily & Luke Yamada – Videography! Emily is the sweetest human being! Our wedding video is my favorite thing to watch. Her skills are unmatched! Lemon Twist – Best Bartenders ever! We will recommend them every time!”
“Will forever remember this venue, and the special day they were able to give us. Brenda was the best! She made sure we went over things when we scheduled our consultation for us booking the venue, and showed up on our wedding day and wished us the best! Our bartenders were the friendliest people!”
