It was an alluring October day up here at Mt Naomi Vineyards.
The lush vineyard was enchanting from the moisture in the air. Overcast and cool, October 22, 2022 had a surprise in store for us!
Danielle and Braxton’s friends and family arrived at the barn and found their seats, for a warm and romantic indoor ceremony.
Why did Danielle and Braxton choose Mt Naomi Vineyards for their wedding venue? “Mt Naomi Vineyards made me feel like our special day was cared for. The venue was not only beautiful on the inside, but also the outside. I always wanted an outside wedding, but with having an October wedding in Utah, it was risky business. Our ceremony took place inside, but I wouldn’t have changed it.”
“I fell in love with this venue as soon as I stepped onto the property. While the outside had the beauty of nature, the inside was unique and almost felt homey (in a good way). The owner showed my husband and I around. She made us feel like our day and every wedding was important to her and other staff.”
Mt Naomi Vineyards loves hearing the special moments each couple experiences up here.
“Although I have a hard time recalling some memories of the day (I was so tired that whole week!), one of the most memorable was when it snowed. It had been raining all day (I love rain!), but shortly after our ceremony it began to snow. My husband and I ventured outside to take some pictures and dance in the snow. The rustic charm added a special touch to that moment.”
” Another special memory is when my husband and I had our last private dance. Staff helped escort everyone out to prepare for the send-off. My husband and I aren’t dancers nor do we care for all eyes on us. I walked down the spiral staircase and surprised him in the green prom dress I wore when we went to prom together three years prior. It was just my husband and me dancing on the floor, uncaring of how silly we might have looked since no eyes were on us.”
When you book your wedding day with Mt Naomi Vineyards, a Venue Coordinator comes with the package! Our Venue Coordinators are with you from the moment you sign, and are even there on the day of your wedding to make sure everything goes as planned.
Did Danielle love having a Venue Coordinator? “I went through a couple venue coordinators. My first one was very sweet and caring. She answered any questions I had in a timely manner. She also made us feel that she truly cared about our day. She was unfortunately in an accident that prevented her from being present on our day! I’m hoping she’s doing okay now. The second venue coordinator seemed very knowledgeable about the details of our wedding, which was quite impressive for her stepping in at the last minute! We are also very thankful for her.”
How did Danielle and Braxton personalize their wedding?
“My husband and I build LEGO sets together, so we made our own LEGO cake topper! That was a favorite for many. We also love Chipotle, so instead of catering a traditional wedding meal, we catered Chipotle. Many people also loved that.”
“We had signature alcoholic drinks for the bride and groom. Mine was a Brandy Alexander, a classic drink my Papa makes and has made at Christmas for as long as I can remember. (I did not start drinking it until it was legal of course!) We were also drinking them when we got engaged on Christmas Eve. My husband’s was a Whiskey River. He loves Jack Daniels whiskey, and the drink was perfect for the fall.”
“I am not a heel person! My wedges only lasted until the ceremony ended. I opted to change into Nike shoes instead. Which the color of them was pretty close to one of our wedding colors (and one of my favorite colors), sage green.”
What advise would Danielle offer to couples planning their wedding?
“Do not be afraid to ask for help! Rest before your wedding day because being fully mentally present during your day is important. Some things might not go to plan, but at the end of the day all that will matter to you is your spouse.”
“Mt Naomi Vineyards is an amazing venue to have any event. From the beauty of the property to the special care the staff gave us, we do not regret having our wedding here. If we could get married again, our choice would still be Mt Naomi Vineyards.”
Would Danielle recommend her vendors?
“Wongsar Vann and his partner! Amazing bartenders that are very good at their jobs. I wasn’t sure if it would be feasible to do Brandy Alexander’s, but he reassured me that while they aren’t the most popular drinks, he would be able to do them for us. He also helped answer any questions we had and was very knowledgeable.”
